Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SignedOff. By creating an account, or by using the driver app under an invitation, you agree to these terms. SignedOff is operated by Providus Labs (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (CIPC reg 2026/142873/07).

1. The service

SignedOff helps South African road-freight fleets capture and keep proof of every delivery — jobs, waybills, GPS-stamped status, POD photos, signatures, document storage, secure client links, and billing prep. The service is delivered through a web dashboard and a mobile driver app (including offline capture on rural routes).

2. Accounts and roles

Owners sign up directly and manage one organisation. Dispatchers and drivers are invited by an owner. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. If you suspect account compromise, contact us immediately at gareth@providuslabs.co.za.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use SignedOff for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to access another organisation's data; (c) upload malware or content you do not have the right to distribute; (d) reverse-engineer or copy the service for resale; (e) use scraping or automated tools against the service beyond ordinary API use.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload (jobs, documents, POD photos, signatures, etc). You grant SignedOff a limited licence to host, process, and display that data for the sole purpose of operating the service for you and your authorised users. We do not use your data to train models or for marketing.

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed in South African Rand (ZAR) in advance via Paystack, on a monthly or annual cycle of your choosing (annual includes 2 months free). Public pricing is on our pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law — see our Refund & Cancellation Policyfor the full statement. We may change fees with 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions are honoured for the remaining billing period.

6. Availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the dashboard and 99% for the driver app sync. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (AWS, Cloudflare, the mobile network), force majeure, or your own connectivity.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms (eg unpaid invoices, abuse of the platform, unlawful use). On termination we will retain your data for 30 days to allow export, then delete it (subject to the legal-retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, SignedOff's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost cargo, or lost goodwill.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Western Cape unless we both agree otherwise in writing.
